Cleaner

Permanent, Part time- 16 hours Per week

Job Purpose

The principal duty of the cleaner is to have responsibility for all aspects of hygiene maintenance and good housekeeping within the services/canteen, in accordance with all elements of Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations and legislation.

What we're looking for:

*        Educated to third level (desirable)

*        1-year relevant experience working in a related role

*        Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

*        Knowledge of health & safety

Your Responsibilities

*        To maintain the highest standards of safety, hygiene and good housekeeping within the services/canteen, in accordance with all elements of Health, Safety and Hygiene regulations and legislation.

*        Cleaning, stocking and supplying within the centre/canteen (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, etc in order to keep buildings/canteen clean and orderly condition.

*        Emptying waste bins and transporting waste to designated areas.

*        Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.

*        Reporting when supplies/cleaning supplies are running low and assist with the ordering of replacements.

Closing Date: June 17th, 2026

Salary starting from point 1 €28,521.77 to point 4  €29,807.17 (pro rata), depending on experience and qualification.
