Sarah Hourihan
Foundation Skills RT Instructor
Sarah Hourihan is a Foundation Skills RT Instructor in NLN Jutland Centre Raheen Limerick with a passion for supporting neurodivergent young adults reach their full potential. With almost 10 years of experience educating, a UDL Badge and Tech Wheel Champion in the centre Sarah specializes in creating person centred plans, promoting social inclusion, integrating IT into learning, tailoring training to meet the individual needs of the students and creating pathways to employment.
A strong advocate for collaboration, teamwork, and professional development Sarah thrives on networking and facilitating practical hands on learning.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys sea swimming with her swim group The Snámhaí Sástas in Spanish Point and walks in nature and is committed to continuous wellbeing development.
Of her career in Rehab she said, "as an RT Instructor you’ll play a pivotal role in meeting students where they are at. This position focuses on the person centred planning process that is in line with the New Directions Strategy, making it ideal for individuals who want to excel in communication, collaboration, IT Skills and generally thinking outside the box"
