Assistant Financial Controller
Permanent, 39 hours per week
Dublin 12, (Hybrid Working model)
Job Purpose
To lead the finance function within RehabCare, supporting the Financial Controller in the co-ordination, delivery and management of an efficient and effective Finance Function. The Assistant Financial Controller provides a key support to the Operational Management structure.
In addition, you will participate in developing the Finance function by embracing new and innovative ways of working, and continuously improving current practices to ensure that Finance is appropriately equipped to improve the effectiveness of the organisation.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Member of relevant accountancy body with 3 years PQE.
- (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Understanding and experience of the Not-for-Profit sector (desirable).
- Requires broad and deep experience in their specialism typically gained through full professional qualification combined with significant practical experience.
- Experience leading a team and managing deadlines
Your Responsibilities
- You will lead & take ownership of financial management for Care services(in conjunction with the Financial Controller) in HSE regions, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and insightful analysis to support senior leaders in resource allocation and decision-making.
- Deliver accurate, timely management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary.
- Plan and review annual budgets, funding proposals, and key financial reports.
- Act as a trusted finance partner for Regional and Centre Managers, representing Rehab Group at funder meetings.
- Produce cashflow forecasting, audit preparation, and ensure compliance.
- Drive process improvements and leverage technology for better insights

Salary starting ranging from €72,359 - €85,128, based on Qualifications and experience
