About the Role:
New Horizon is a Physical and Sensory Day Centre which provides a person-centred service to persons with physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities. New Horizons is situated on a beautifully maintained walled garden on a 9-acre site in the heart of Stillorgan. The location is well served by public transport, and has on-site parking. New Horizons Day Centre operates in accordance with the New Directions policy, ensuring that our service users enjoy a person-centred service with a focus on community involvement.
The Programme Supervisor will support the Community Services Manager to effectively run the New Horizon Day Centre. Duties include but are not limited to effective supervision and coordination of the team of programme facilitators and care workers; ensuring a high quality of health and safety management in line with Rehab Care policy; ensuring effective support planning and person centred planning in line with New Directions policy; supporting the manager with talent acquisition and service user referrals; engaging with all key internal and external stakeholders. What we’re looking for:
A Third level graduate, Health and Social care equivalent
MAPA, Occupational First Aid, Manual Handling, infection prevention
A champion of Person Centred Planning and Individual Action Plans.
Experience of management and supervising both individuals and teams
Experience of working with individuals with mental health, physical, sensory & ID disability.
Experience in the provision of community and service based programmes and activities to promote independence and meet the needs, choices and abilities of clients.
Full Clean Driving Licence preferable
Your Responsibilities
- To liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams and other personnel to ensure the best quality of service with the clients as directed by community services manager
- To manage the day to day delivery of a truly person centred service for all clients who avail of Resource centre
- To document information and complete paperwork as deemed necessary for delivery of service to the clients who avail of the Service for accountability purpose

Closing Date: 14th August 2025
Salary starting from point 1 € 37,138.5 per annum to point 5 € 43,028.82 per annum pro rata and is subject to negotiation depending on experience and qualification.
