General Operative

Permanent Contract, 39 hours

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the purpose of the role is to take a lead position as an individual or as part of a team in the performance of wide-ranging work duties in Product Assembly / Kit building and Warehouse tasks.  To assist in a variety of production processes, ensuring high quality controls and safe work practices.

What we’re looking for:

*         Experience working in similar position desirable but not essential.

• §  Workingg as part of a team in a busy production environment.
• Proficiency in operating forklift an advantage but training can be provided.
• Capable of taking a leading position in the planning and performance of work duties as an individual or as part of a team.

Your Responsibilities

• As a senior operative, take on first-line supervisory responsibilities including planning, assigning and evaluating the work of other operatives in the safe and efficient performance of work duties.
• To be flexible, taking on additional duties that would not otherwise be part of the work expectations of a General Operative
• To meet the physical challenge of work involving lifting and moving of some products.

Salary - €15.00ph
