Permanent Part Time (35 hours per week)

 

 

About the Role: 

 

To assist in the delivery of individualized community support to a number of clients with intellectual, physical and or mental health disability., some who  may present with behaviors that challenge Supporting clients in their communities and some in their own home, working towards optimizing their social, psychological, intellectual, domestic community living and daily living functioning .

 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Minimum QQI Level 5 preference is for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of working with clients with Autism is highly desirable or a willingness to develop skills in this area is essential
  • Minimum of one year work experience in the area of intellectual, physical and or mental health disability
  • Experience of working 1:1 with clients  in the community
  • Full clean driving license

Your Responsibilities 

 

  • To plan, develop, implement, monitor and review appropriate educational, recreational and occupational programs within the community ensuring best practice in line with up to date research regarding improving people Quality of Life. To liaise with families, the multidisciplinary team and key community based personnel in the pursuit of accessible community activities for service users.
  • Establish a productive partnership with the individual (s) by devising a mutual agreement on how to work together to ensure expectations are set, responsibilities are met, and respect, honesty and transparency are demonstrable.
  • To ensure all interaction with service users is approached with dignity, respect, equality and incorporates choice

Closing Date: 24th October 2025 

 

Salary starting from point 1 € 29374.7 per annum to point 5 € 33489.25 per annum (Pro Rata) , is subject to negotiation depending on experience and qualification.
