Operations Supervisor

Permanent Contract, 39 hours
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Business Manager, the purpose of the role will be to assist in a variety of warehouse and transport processes and operational planning ensuring a high level of safe work practices along with Health, Safety and Welfare practices and policies.
Minimum Education & Skills required
* Working as part of a team in a busy production environment.
* Experience in all operational aspects of the facility.
* Knowledge of the conditions of the waste collection permit and the waste facility permit.
* Be able to take direction and to work on own initiative.
* Be capable of maintaining high levels of quality control
Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Adhere to safe working practices and contribute to the creation and maintenance of a healthy, safe working environment, ensuring protective clothing is worn in order to comply with the Health & Safety practices of the plant, ensure quality, health & safety and environmental standards are adhered to in full
* Efficient management of containers and vehicles for waste logistics operations, segregation of waste streams by family and as directed. The safe management, recording, and storage of waste receptacles and equipment and safe operation of equipment necessary to carry out duties.
* Ensure daily production targets are met on time
