Senior Business Manager (Enterprises)
Permanent Contract, 39 hours
Tallaght/Ballyfermot, Co Dublin
Job Purpose
The post holder has responsibility for driving profitable direct sales and marketing, in a strategically important part of the business. The daily management of single or multiple site units within Rehab Enterprises will involve leading and motivating a large number of staff, with diverse needs, to achieve key organisational objectives. Delivering on customer requirements and meeting quality standards, in a safe and efficient manner, whilst promoting a positive working environment will be a key requirement.
As part of the operations management team, the post holder will develop new work practices, products and services that that allow the organisation to deliver on its core objectives as an employer and to remain sustainable as a commercial enterprise.
Duties will include directing and coordinating activities within the operational unit as well as supervisory management, record management and risk analysis.
What we’re looking for:
* Qualification in Management (NFQ06) and/or degree in related discipline (NFQ07) would be required.
* Five (5) years’ relevant experience in the management of a people focused commercial / manufacturing environment, providing a quality focused product or service.
* A minimum of three (3) years’ experience of business to business sales, ideally in the industrial sector.
* A proven track record in business planning and change management.
* The ability to develop positive partnerships, both internally and externally
Your Responsibilities
Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy,* over a specified geographic area, in order to identify new customers across varied sectors, to deliver on sales and profit margin budgets.
Maintain and develop the existing customer base*, over a specified geographic area and across varied sectors, to include managing the collection and processing of orders, in order to ensure the efficient dispatch and delivery of goods within customer service / client standards; to facilitate the delivery of monthly and annual sales and profit margin budgets
Lead and motivate and develop staff* within the operational unit to include the scheduling of individual and team meetings in order that the unit delivers on customer expectations; ensures the safe and efficient operation of the facilities; ensures product flows are efficient and production schedules and targets are met; the operation delivers/exceeds budgeted financial expectations; and agreed key performance indicators are met on an annual basis.
Develop and maintain systems and controls* that ensure product quality standards and compliance with all health and safety and other relevant legislation, both national and international, to promote a safe and legally compliant operation and working environment.
